Microneedling, River Heights, Winnipeg

A pen of fine needles makes tiny channels in the skin at a depth we set, from 0.5 to 2.5 mm, and the skin makes new collagen as it heals. It improves texture and scarring gradually, over a series. Treatments deeper than 1 mm are done by Joanne.

Planning around a date?

  • 12+ weeks before: Time for a series of three, and for the skin to settle in between.
  • 1 to 11 weeks before: Time for a session or two. The redness lasts 1 to 3 days.
  • Less than 1 week: Book it after your date. Give your skin at least a week.

  4. The next three daysPink like a sunburn for one to three days. Gentle cleanser, balm, sunscreen, no makeup for 24 hours.

Individual results may vary. A consultation comes first, and the plan you leave with is the price you pay. Prices in Canadian dollars, plus applicable taxes. Changes are free with 48 hours’ notice; later than that, or a missed visit, is $50.

How soon will I see a difference?
Skin looks fresher in a week. Collagen builds over months, so we judge scars and stretch marks a few months after the last session.
Does it hurt?
With numbing cream it feels like fine sandpaper. The bony areas are sharper.
Is it safe on darker skin?
It’s one of the safer options, because there’s no heat. We still go carefully to avoid dark marks afterwards.
