Privacy policy

This is a demo website made by Admista to show what a clinic website can look like. Tamarack Skin Clinic, its staff, address, phone number and prices are made up.

What this site collects

Nothing. The consult form checks what you type in your own browser and then shows a message saying it’s a demo. Nothing you type is sent, stored or shared. The site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or advertising tags.

Why we’d use it

On a real clinic site, the details in the form would be used only to reply to you and book your consult, and kept with your clinic record if you become a client. On this demo they aren’t used at all, because they never leave your browser.

What loads from elsewhere

Photos load from Unsplash (images.unsplash.com), which receives the usual technical details any website receives when it sends you an image, such as your IP address and browser type. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs. Neither receives anything you type into the form.

A real clinic’s policy

A real clinic would collect your name, contact details and health information to book and treat you. Its policy would say what it collects, why, who it shares it with (for example its booking system), how long it keeps your records, and how to see or correct them, following Manitoba’s Personal Health Information Act and Canada’s PIPEDA.
